Life Lately..

So after moving way back when on May 27th, we still haven't quite got into a routine/settled/stuff put away/etc. In fact.. we JUST got all our belongings from California this past Saturday!! But I digress.. At least we are in this great state and get to see our friends regularly.. like Auntie Bev!!



And Maddie Jane has this giiiinormous backyard to play in! (And is FINALLY getting use to sticking her toes in the grass!)

And a pretty awesome back deck (which is even better now that E has speckled it with a bazillion flowers!) to have nightly ice cream on.. 

And a Kroger right down the street with the BEST shopping carts and the sweetest bakery lady that gives Maddie a sugar cookie every.single.time.



And nightly playing with in our water table!! (Side note: this was right after she had stripped down to nothing, got in and I had dried her off and put on a new shirt..)

And we have had pretty much EVERY single meal from our grill on the deck! 

And this guy had to go back to California for a week and we are SO thankful to have him home!!! 

And then the movers FINALLY came. 16 days later and at 6am I might add... 

But even after 13 hours of moving and unpacking boxes, we couldn't turn down the free babysitter at home (Thanks E!!) and a night out in our new little town.. 

With some pretty amazing friends who live just right down the road!! 

I have such a crush on Woodstock and can't say enough great things about it. Y'all just let me know when you want to come over.. go to the farmers market, have lunch at the old train depo, and see that free concert one Saturday :) 

Sunday morning we were at Target bright and early, grabbing our Starbucks and checking off more things on our To Do list.. 

Took an unpacking-boxes-break for lunch downtown Woodstock at Century Tavern. 

And that afternoon Maddie Jane took a loooonngg nap followed by some fun sprinkler time in the backyard.

And on Monday, we had a serious case of the Mondays... The morning started out with nonstop crying, a complete meltdown once we got to school, I had a crappy day at work, and poor Maddie Jane got bit at school! And then we came home to a Daddy sick with a fever! 

Needless to say.. it has been crazy town around here. I couldn't have done it without Amanda helping me day 1.. my Mom and Chip coming up day 2.. E spending a whole week helping me with Maddie and Molly and the outsides and MY HUSBAND hopping back and forth between coasts to make this timeline work and now my Mom coming back Friday to help some more! It takes a village, but we are getting there!! A house tour post will be up next week!
