In Baylor Girlfriends Parties Pregnancy Work

Baby Showers for Baby Boy!

As part of my whirlwind trip (that I'm going to talk about later this week), I had TWO baby showers! With being baby number two, I definitely didn't expect much "showering", but I am so incredibly thankful for all the love we have been shown!! This little guy is so stinking lucky to be loved by so many already!

I work remotely, but went down to the office in Atlanta a few weeks ago to meet with my team and get to have a double shower with Michelle who is about 6 weeks ahead of me with a baby girl!

I'm seriously one of the oldest people at my company (at 29, ha!) so baby showers are few and far between. So we had to make this as fun as possible for these kiddos straight out of college!

It was such a special time and we received so many thoughtful gifts. Lucky to call this company mine, even though I don't get to see them often!

Next up I had a "baby sprinkle" hosted by some of my best girlfriends in Sandersville. They swear they just "threw this together" but come onnnn, how stinkin cute!?

Maddie Jane and sweet Sadie.. they don't see each other often, but when they are together, they have such a good time!

Love these bestie girls of mine! And how much they love on my children!

Brit's mom, Ms Dianne, also helped host the shower and offered her home and pool area! It was also so gorgeous and perfectly laid back!

MJ wasn't feeling pictures...

But Brit did capture this sweet one! (Also, I have pregnancy induced carpel tunnel. Should go away within hours of giving birth..That ugly hand brace helps SO much!)

This girl provided all the gorgeous handwriting you see on the decorations. We have collaborated our small shops together on something and I hope we will be doing a lot more together in the future! Love ya Katie Hammock!

And that's a wrap! We got a tonnnn of diapers, wipes and diaper genie refills (which I had not purchased one single thing of, oops) and a bunch of other sweet goodies. So, so thankful to be surrounded by so many family and friends during this sweet stage of life.

One more "sprinkle" to go in Atlanta! EEK

In Gigi Maddie Jane Parties Weekends

Weekend in Sandersville

Last weekend we headed down to Sandersville for a baby shower AND a wedding shower. Love when things work out like that :) On Friday night, Grandma cooked a huge spread and then we topped it off with Dairy Lane of course! Amanda and Barrett were there too and I can't believe I have zero pics of Maddie and "Farrett".

First shower up - my bestie's baby shower! We hosted it in Milledgeville and appropriately had a nautical theme for these coastal water lovin folks.

Gigi brought Maddie Jane a little later and she was on her best behavior. Love that girl of mine and that we have finallyyyy turned the corner of the terrible twos!

It was totally unplanned to be pregnant together (she wasn't trying and I was trying for over a year), but how stinkin special is it that we are both having boys within two months of each other!?

We rested up all afternoon at Grandma's house before the next shower. Please note the pose, and the new dress she got from Gigi for being such a sweet girl, haha

Shower number two was a couple's wedding shower for Brent and Kayley. Love being able to hop down to my hometown for special things like this!

Meanwhile... Maddie Jane was with the fam at Herb's. Apparently she ate grits, shrimp, hushpuppies, AND fish. That tiny little girl can put away some food!

On Sunday morning we were up and out the door by 10am heading back to North Carolina. It will never be lost on me getting to hop down to Georgia to spend time with family and friends. Counting down to the next one!

In Friends Parties

Baby Shower :: Kyle + Katie

On Sunday, we helped host a baby shower for Kyle and Katie Hammock at our house for Ms Harper that is due in November! Kyle was AJ's best man and they have been friends for a bajillion years and we were so excited to take part in this amazing time in their life.

(Side note: I have been practicing so hard on my lettering and I am pretty stinkin proud of that sign up there. Thinking about offering a service for brides, showers, etc...)

This was the first time we have hosted anything in our home, so I was allllll about the cleaning and decorating. Everything REALLY turned out so so well. (Even if my mums died this week and I had to just plop pumpkins in my planters ha!)

I went super simple with the decorations and tried to mirror Katie's style for her wedding. Candles, mini pumpkins and leaves from the trees in our backyard!

We had some popcorn for guest to munch on as people were arriving and grabbing a drink.

Saturday was Katie's birthday, so we wanted to celebrate that too! So pleased with that little naked cake - used the same pans as I did for MJ's birthday.

LOVED seeing so many people in our backyard having a good time. We had around 30 people there to celebrate this sweet couple!

We had BBQ catered and did the sides on our own.. salad bar, potato salad, and mac&cheese.

Thankfully it wasn't TOO hot, and everyone was able to enjoy the meal outside.

They racked up on so many sweet gifts.

Unfortunately, about 10 people had already left at this point, but so glad we grabbed a group picture!

Some folks hung around late to play guitar and sip on drinks. Our backyard was pretty dreamy with the candles and twinkle lights to do so. Incredibly thankful for Josh and Brenna helping us set up (and take down) all of this and SO happy with how everything turned out. Kyle and Katie are both loved by so many people and Harper is one lucky girl to call them Mom and Dad.

Our other hosts, Judson and Bailey, were greatly missed. We are heartbroken seeing them go through such a difficult time and so wish there was something we could say or do to ease their pain. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers during these unimaginable weeks and months to come..
