Pup pup Molly did LOTS of this during the weekend enjoying our new AC!
AJ did some touch ups on the nursery walls..
I dug up some more non maternity clothes to add into my maternity boring wardrobe and felt pretty darn cute on Saturday running errands.
And errands included Hot Dog on a Stick. nom.
Saturday night was date night back at our new fav pizza place, Pitfire. Told ya we'd be back soon, ha!
And ending it with a warm cookie and ice cream was juuuust what the doctor ordered.
And the weekend was capped off doing lots of snoozing on Sunday!
THIS popped up on my Timehop today. Who are these kids??? Man we look like babies. Guess moving across the country and having a baby ages you! ha!
Menu Monday - Week of August 23
Sunday: Sweet Potato Gnocchi
AJ makes gnocchi all the time. He will make big batches and we'll keep it in the freezer for quick meals. Last night, he tried it with sweet potatoes and it did not disappoint. He did just a simple brown butter sage sauce on top.. yummo!
Monday: Steak Caesar
Tonight, we had Caesar salad topped with fresh grilled corn and steak. Just a light, refreshing meal on a hot night. Going to miss the sweet summer corn (and watermelon) in the fall!
Tuesday: Penne Rustica
If mom and I were in Augusta when I was kid you could find us at Atlanta Bread Co for lunch and Macaroni Grill for dinner, without fail. I would always get the Penne Rustic with shrimp and chicken. I don't know what made this pop into my head, but I found a recipe for it and AJ is making it this week!! SO excited.
Wednesday: Potstickers
We learned this amazing recipe in a cooking class we took a few years ago. It is a little labor intensive.. we'll make the filling with ground pork, Asian seasoning, onions, then fill the wanton wrappers, sear and steam. With a whole pound of ground pork it makes a TON, so no need for a side dish.
Thursday: Hogs in a Hammock
Thursday I am going to be busy packing, doing laundry, last minute errands for our Georgia trip! Our tried and true extra large pigs in a blanket will always be a go to on a busy night in the Pryor house. We're going to make it even better by using cheese hot dogs!
