1. Bath & Body Works Candles!! 

I loooooovvvee these candles so so much, but refuse to pay full price for them. Someone alerted the masses on Facebook that they were having a sale, and I rushed over to snag mine. They were buy 3, get 3 free PLUS 25% off. Not only do their candles smell so dang good, but they have upped their label designs too! So excited to have these for Thanksgiving and Christmas! 

2. My Sweet Girl

It's been a long week with AJ in California, and this girl has been extra clingy missing her Daddy. Tried to snag an outfit picture this morning, but she wouldn't let me go. For the first year of her life she didn't care about snuggles at all, so I am soaking it all in!

3. Paying it forward

So a really awesome series of events happened this morning. We were on time for school for the first time ALL WEEK.. actually early! So I decided to cash in my free breakfast coupon from MJ's school at Chick Fil A. This sweet high school girl held the door for me as I was walking in, so I decided to buy breakfast for her. This is not to brag AT ALL, but hear me out on this.. So many times I hear people in the workforce complain about "kids" or "millennials" and I think if we actually invest in the lives of young people, opposed to just complaining about them, the world would be a better place. (And then I could go on a psychology rant about rewarding good behavior, but that's a post for another day..) All I did was buy a chicken biscuit, but that little thought really stuck with me this morning.. 

4. Honey Haul

Maddie Jane's Honey spoiled her big time this week with tons of dresses for the winter! We looooove smock dresses something similar, and thankfully Honey has us set for Thanksgiving and Christmas! Of course out of all these pretty dresses, Maddie Jane's favorite one was "ELL-PHANTS!"!

5. Shameless Plug

What's Up Wednesday

On the last Wednesday of every month I link up with Mel, Shay and Sheaffer to do What's Up Wednesday.

1. What we're eating this week...
AJ is in California so... this girl and I are getting by on mac n cheese and hotdogs! hahaha

2. What I'm reminiscing about...

 We had the best time this weekend with friends! We went into the city for a brunch tailgate hosted by Kate and Trey. With a night game, it was nice to have a fun morning like this!

Maddie Jane did not know what to think about Radar being dressed up like a yellow jacket!

3. What I'm loving...
We finally got around to carving pumpkins! We have been so busy, that I don't think a pumpkin patch trip is going to be in the cards, but glad we got this marked off the fun fall list! Maddie has a love/hate relationship with the guts! 

4. What we've been up to...

Last weekend was our only free weekend in October, so of course we packed it full!! We went to a birthday party down the street for a precious one year old boy! 

Maddie Jane loved hanging out her her friend Solomon and meeting some new kids too! 

And we kept Sanders for Bev and Ben. That sweet boy has NO idea he isn't a lap dog! 

And a little church time.. 

And ran errands.. 

And Kell and I had brunch together to celebrate our October birthdays! 

5. What I'm dreading...

Seeing how this kiddo does with Thanksgiving / Christmas decorations. She is a sneaky one!! 

6. What I'm working on...
Alix got a new apartment and I have been  brainstorming her decorations! She moves in next week and I think we have a good theme going.. COZY.

I snagged this cutie for her from At Home for 20 bucks! 

7. What I'm excited about...

AJ and I also had a date night this weekend!! With our insane schedules, we have barely seen each other during October. It was so good to spend some one on one time with him.  

We tried out the new wine bar downtown Woodstock and this cheese plate took about 2 hours to come out!! Thankfully they comped it and I didn't mind the extra time with my man :)

So thankful for this guy and that I get to do life with him. 

8. What I'm watching/reading...

I am watching all my usual shows... Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, Kardashians. AND I am on the final episode of Ozark! This show was not what I was expecting, but AJ and I have really enjoyed it! 

9. What I'm listening to...

I am listening to Chip Gaines' new book on tape. It's really good and fun to hear him read it!

10. What I'm wearing...
Everything in this outfit is old, except these super cute earrings that you can find HERE.

But I did do a whole recap of amazing stuff I have found back HERE that you can read :) 

11. What I'm doing this weekend...
This girl and I are meeting up with AJ after he flies in from Cali, having dinner with Bev and Ben, Sandersville for a family reunion, and FINALLY meeting sweet baby Hudson!!

12. What I'm looking forward to next month...
It's another nonstop doozy. Honey is in town (hallelujah!), wedding in Nashville, Paige's wedding, then we are hosting Thanksgiving and going to UGA/GT game, and this sweet baby girl turns TWO! Oh be still my heart, how is that even possible!?

Amazon Style

For my birthday I received a HUGE Amazon gift card, and of course my first thought was "save it for Christmas gifts!" but my sweet husband convinced me to spend it on myself. (I mean it didn't really take twisting my arm, ha!) I haven't bought much clothing from Amazon, but that was all that was on my wish list, so I decided to give it a shot! And y'al.. I was SO pleased with every single thing I ordered. The Amazon stuff is linked above and the other parts of the outfits are below the picture too :)

 RIPPED JEANS

I'm not a huge fan of spending a ton of money on clothes I can't wear to work, but I have been wanting dark ripped jeans for forever. And I think these olive ones are precious! I sized up per the reviews and I am really happy with them. They are a little long, so I have been cuffing them but I might cut them to give that popular frayed ends look?

LAYERED NECKLACE
I have seen so many girls wear this necklace (originally from Anthro then Francesca's) to really spice up solid color shirts and dresses. Well Amazon did a knock off for a steal, and I love it just as much. Mine is a grey-ish color, but I think I would like it more in blush? And it's super light weight without looking cheaply made.. (hey molly!)

LAYERING TANK
This little white tank is solid gold. I have been looking for a nice piece to go under my 500 cardigans, and this is it!! I wish I would have sized up so it laid on my hips better, but it's so dang cheap I don't know what I am waiting on to just buy another!!

LOW CUT BOOTIES
I saw these exact booties in a little boutique and I was sooo close to buying them, but talked myself out of it. And thank goodness I did, because I found them on Amazon for a third of the price!!! This picture really doesn't do them justice! I am so in love and have worn them so many times already.. to work with dress pants, with jeans on the weekend, and I think they would look super cute with a skirt too!

OLIVE SWEATER
Clearly I have a thing for olive this fall, ha! This sweater is amazing quality.. it came from China, so it took several weeks to get here and I was sure it was going to be cheaply made, but it is SO nice. And of course it is paired with that staple tank I mentioned earlier. And I snagged these shoes for TWO DOLLARS last year on the clearance rack, but I linked some similar ones below :)

FAUX LEATHER LEGGINGS
I have been wanting to buy a pair of leather leggings for forever, but just couldn't bring myself to buy the Spanx ones that everyone raves about. (Especially when I'm not going to wear them insanely often!!) But I snagged these super cheap ones for Vegas and I wore them on our date night last weekend too! I sized up and really like the fit even better now after one wash. This sweater is from Loft last year and I couldn't really find anything like it, but I linked something cute below anyway, haha. (Hey MJ!)

OFF THE SHOULDER SWEATER
Y'all I tried this sweater on several times and could not for the life of me figure out what was the neck and what was the waist!! Either way, I love it!! It is so comfy and really light weight, so I wasn't dying when it was 50 in the morning and 75 in the afternoon. AND I have been eyeing this necklace from Bauble Bar and finally found it on Poshmark!!

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday y'all! That picture above is exactly how we feel about it finally being fall in the South!! We are enjoying these cooler temps, finally wearing those sweaters that have been shoved in the back of the closet, and are having a ton of leaf fights! Enjoying our FAVORITE season to the max! 

I couldn't help but add a couple more fall things to our house.. This burnt orange blanket and the ginormous white pumpkin were two Home Good finds. Little touches of decor are my FAVORITE.

Our FAVORITE Honey sent us a big ole box of goodies!! How precious are these clothes!? And Mama got some necklaces too! 

Fun story about those two necklaces up there. Elizabeth got them at Classic Kippers in Shreveport - 100% of their net profit goes to bonafide animal charities that support abused and neglected animals. The necklace alone was a little short for my liking, but they clip magnetically, so I just put the two together! Super cute addition to my outfit and supporting an insanely great cause! 

Gigi sent some Halloween clothes too. My poor child wouldn't be clothed if it wasn't for her awesome grandmas!! We are wearing all our festive clothes on repeat before the 31st! 

Snuggles with this sweet baby are my FAVORITE! Especially when I get big cheesy grins with the snapchat filters! 

Maddie Jane's artwork from church is sooo my FAVORITE. We love our church so much and their children's program is like no other! 

Maddie Jane's FAVORITE activity of being pulled around in a box was starting to wear on us. So AJ put the dog leash through it and tied it to his belt loop! My grandma calls him the "Traveling Troubadour" hahah! 

My FAVORITE thing is to have a clean driveway! I blow those leaves off like crazy and it makes me so stinkin happy, ha! And even better when I have this helper :) 

Soo... this picture is my FAVORITE, but not AJ's! It looks like such a sweet picture, but what you can't tell is she actually pee'd on him, hahaha! We are in no way full force potty training, but she does sit on it at school and home. (I think she just wants to be like her best friend Maggie who IS potty training..)We had just let her just try, and I didn't feel like putting a new diaper on her because it was almost bath time and well... AJ paid for it! 

I'll spare her the embarrassment years down the road, and won't show her sitting on this cutie little potty! But this morning she actually WENT on it for the first time! Up until now, she has just sat there.. so we had a big ole party at our house this morning! Hope your Friday is off to as good of a start as ours :)
