In Date Night Weekends

Parents' Weekend

This past weekend we had our first weekend alone since last October!! We were so excited and had a list a mile long of what we wanted to do. I don't have that many pictures, because we were just soaking up every little bit of that time together and with our friends, but here we go!

First up was John Mayer! We had such a good time, but decided we need to start upgrading our seats :) haha

After work on Friday afternoon we grabbed an Uber to our local Woodstock brewery - Reformation.

It was such a cute little place.. they had a food truck, live music, games and surprisingly there were a ton of kids there! Maybe we will have to take MJ back.

The brewery is a mile or so from all the downtown restaurants, so we thought we would have to take another Uber to dinner. BUT to our surprise there is a cute little trolley that runs all around Woodstock on Friday and Saturday nights! As if our little town couldn't get any cuter!?

Guess we weren't the only ones who didn't know about this little trolley. We had the whole thing to ourselves! So the sweet driver just dropped us right off at our restaurant.

We were going to Century House Tavern, but the wait was over an hour so we ended up at Salt. (Super cute place that also has locations in Roswell and Alpharetta.) We had THE most amazing Louisiana egg rolls that I am still dreaming about..

The next morning we were struggling a little bit.. and I was really missing our girl. I even suggested to AJ that we just drive to Sandersville and get her, ha! But we made it down to the city to have lunch with our favorite couple - Bev and Ben. These two.

After lunch we met up with a bunch of AJ's fraternity brothers and their wives at Scofflaw Brewery. Not my fav place, as I'm not a huge fan of IPAs, but we had fun nonetheless!!

Sweet Megan is always the hostess with the mostest when we stay in the city!

On to Ormsbys... then sushi...

Then ended the night at Little Trouble. SO good seeing so many of our college friends and planning the next 25 outings with them!!
