Weekend Wrap Up & Menu Monday

Friday night we had a relaxing night at home complete with a Maddie bath in the sink :) 

Sunday morning AJ took over Daddy duty and took Maddie and Molly on a walk while Mama slept. SO thankful he does the majority of the baby duty on the weekends so I can get rested up to take over during the week. 

Saturday it was a nice 75 so we took a stroll by the beach. Maddie Jane was interested for about 30 seconds and then she was snoozing.. 

We had lunch/dinner (linner?) at Del Frisco's by the beach and I had an amazing burger and fries! And that cute little ketchup bottle. I die. 

Maddie girl woke up right at the end to eat herself! 

We were heading up the parking deck and this kind gentleman offered me some great parenting advice as we were riding up in an ENCLOSED ELEVATOR.. "Lady, you need to cover up your son. The sun is shining right on him." Thank you, kind sir. I will get right on that.

I digress... 

Sunday we hung out on the balcony in the shade because the temp climbed up to 80! Love, love February in Southern California. Every Valentine's we have had here, it has been gorgeous! 

Little nugget LOVED soaking up some rays and having a little different scenery! 

Sunday night our little family hunkered down to watch the Super Bowl. We had lots of pausing and rewinding in between diaper changes, feeding and bath time, but we finally managed to see the end :) 

This Week's Menu

Sunday: Wings and Spinach Dip (had to have the staples for Super Bowl Sunday!)

Monday: Staying on the unhealthy train a while longer with Burgers and Fries

Tuesday: Getting better with a Grilled Salmon Southwest Salad 

Wednesday: Breaking some of AJ's homemade Gnocchi out of the freezer

Thursday: Finishing off the week with Roasted Tomato Chicken over Rice 

Friday: We MIGHT be going on a date for Valentine's IF Mama can be okay with the idea of leaving Maddie with a babysitter.. and uh finding said babysitter. The clock is ticking..
