Weekend Wrap Up

So... Paige was here for FOUR DAYS and all I have are pictures of Maddie to show for it. Serious fail. Nevertheless, here is a bunch of cuteness from our weekend..

Friday sweet nugget headed to daycare so Mom and Auntie Paige could have a girls day. Think grocery shopping (alone!! ahh!!), mani/pedi, and lunch at the dine in movie theater (YES, I got to watch an entire movie with my feet up in a leather recliner, ate an entire meal while it was hot, sipped on a cold cocktail AND I didn't fall asleep bc it was after bedtime... #allthemamassaidamen)

We picked Maddie Jane up from daycare and continued the party at the mall next to our apartment.. and Happy Hour! Wooo 

Maddie Jane is always down for a happy hour that involves carbs.. #shegetitfromhermama 

All those crumbs called for an immediate sink bath once we got home. 

Saturday we went on a long walk with Molly and Maddie around the neighborhood. Then MJ got to wear her new Lilly from Paige out to lunch!! 

Saturday afternoon she boycotted a nap and was looking like this by 6:30pm... (Side note: This is the first time she has worn pants/top pjs and holy cow, she looks like a toddler and I can't even stand it!!)

Sunday she had her first swim lesson! (After last week's cancellation because of a bird poop incident, ha!)

This Mama was beaming with pride at how well she did! She is a FISH - Olympics 2032 here we come! 

After swim class we headed downtown for Smorgasboard. It's a huge parking lot full of tents of food and a couple clothes/jewelry vendors as well. Next time I am going to bring a bigger appetite and more friends so I can taste what everyone else gets as well!! 

Sunday afternoon the nap boycotting continued when this little one realized she could pull up on her bed. If she isn't asleep, she is ON THE GO. This Mama is TIRED after 6 days without Daddy. 

Sunday night AJ got home (and immediately lowered her bed), Paige took the red eye back to Atlanta, and Maddie Jane was asleep in 30 seconds after finally having Daddy back to do bedtime routine.. (And slept through the night for the first time since he left as well..#daddyisherfavorite #bigfateyeroll) What a fun weekend and BEYOND thankful to have had my best friend in town to help out with my crazy girl!! And now I am SO happy to have my husband back home!! Life without him is no life I wanna live!
